Tracy Steffek is the Senior Director of National Coordination and leads the SAFE Communities portfolio at SAFE Project.  She is responsible for national, state and local partnerships that support communities in responding more resiliently to the addiction epidemic.  Valuing the importance of sustainable, bottom-up solutions, Tracy brings over thirteen years of experience to SAFE Project in local government and nonprofit organizations where she facilitated various aspects of community policy making and systems change.  Originally from New Jersey, she holds a master's degree in public administration from Virginia Tech and a bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies from Penn State.
