Background

As communities begin to ramp up their mentorship programs it is important for them to support mentors with the proper toolkits for engaging the youth they are mentoring.  There are many different toolkits which may be usefule in addressing issues that mentees are encountering.  On this page we will try to list resources and toolkits that can be used as a part of the mentoring process.

Project Youth Violence Intervention and Prevention (Developed by NEVR)

This Project is a resource designed to provide awareness and information on what is a
healthy relationship and how to maintain one, how best to recognize the signs of
relationship violence, how to safely respond to that violence and how to support
someone experiencing violence. It is intended to be a practical guide for children and
youth between 10 and 18 years old. This project is meant to inspire you to safely get
involved if you see violence and become active agents against any form of relationship
violence.
