Desired State

Even after a lot of time and effort goes into recruiting and training a new foster family, many of the families don't continue to be foster parents for long. (Get stats for the main page.)     Because faith communities provide excellent support for the foster families, they are more likely to continue to provide foster care for many years. 
Many faith communities would like to do more to support vulnerable children, but they don't know what they can do.    There are clear guidelines and toolkits to make it easy for faith communities to establish community support teams ('Care Communities") that help foster families.
