Carpetball is a simple, fast-paced, and very fun game for all ages.  It can be played indoors or outdoors, and it is great for socializing.

Background

The orgins of carpetball are not known for certain, but it gained popularity at youth summer camps in the 1970s and 1980s.  There are many different instructions for both indoor and outdoor carpetball tables. 

It is fun for all ages--and mixed ages--and it is a wonderful blend of simplicity and entertainment. It doesn't get old!

Many websites have instructions for building carpetball tables, and YouTube has videos with examples of buildig carpetball tables.
