The Basics is a strategy for whole communities to support vibrant learning and brain development among infants and toddlers. As a growing movement of community networks in the U.S. and around the world, The Basics aims to help every family help every child reach their full potential by using a public health approach that raises awareness about early childhood development and builds capacity throughout the community to support families around The Basics principles and other support.[1]
