• Increase the number of distribution programs legally allowed to distribute naloxone by working with states that have such established programs.
  • 52 programs in 17 states
• Work to relabel naloxone as an over-the-counter drug
  • Naloxone has been available over-the-counter in Italy since the 1980s without any reported negative consequences, because it has no potential for abuse and therefore is not a controlled substance.
